The Arena by Marie Bergeron
Marie Bergeron’s illustrations focus on movies and videogames, and her detailed work – crafted using digital tools -- has been shown worldwide, including a recent exhibition in Japan. Among her subjects: The Godfather, Tim Burton, Guardians of the Galaxy and Daft Punk. Her pieces have appeared at Gauntlet Gallery (San Francisco), Bottleneck Gallery (New York) and Willow Poster Museum (Poland). She has lent her talents to such clients as Paramount Pictures, BOOM Studio and Riot Games. Bergeron was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, and initially studied cinematography. She began her career in graphic design and illustration after studying at the Centre du Design. Her work takes a more graphic approach contrasted with organic strokes, and she always tries to focus the eye on one particular subject. She lives in Montreal.
