    Comments about this product:

I have been a Trekee for since the series started. I am grateful that Star Trek popularity has remained strong all these years. The two newer films are wonderful and are a real tribute to Gene Roddenberry and Leonard Nimoy, two of my real culture heroes. May they continue to live well and prosper.

    Comments about this product:

Overall I have enjoyed watching this Blu-ray movie set. The audio and visual quality is superb. I watch them on a dual Sony Bravia system which greatly enhances the experience. Having said that I am a bit disappointed that there are no Director's Cut versions. Especially The Wrath of Khan. I also liked the Director's Edition/Cut of The Motion Picture VS. the Theatrical version. It's not that bad of a problem. I can always buy the two Director's Cut movies on Blu-ray beings they are old movies and are now a dime a dozen. I still give this Star Trek movie set 5 out of 5 stars.

    Comments about this product:

I use the Blu Ray Star Trek Motion Pic collection to have all my Original Trek movies in one package. At that it succeeds very well overall. Of course, Blu Ray has the highest audio and video resolution, generally, however, Wrath Of Khan fans will be disappointed. The Blu Ray transfer of WOK is poor, and the original film was in bad shape for the transfer, so the picture is very dark, and the massive sets of the Enterprise Bridge and shuttles, and Space docks, are almost indistinguishable in the darkness. The standard DVD of STWOK is a much better product and suffers from none of those issues. Ironic, since standard DVD is supposed to be inferior to Blu Ray, but there it is. The rest of the movies are outstanding and work very well. And the price is right too, because of the package deal. Overall, I would say this is a good to very good purchase.
